The Regional Manager will manage the team that is responsible for the commercial relationships of the Americas existing accounts. Responsible for managing Americas region as well as contributing to regional sales results. The Regional Manager will be responsible for America’s account management team as well as metrics for annuity revenue retention and sales to managed accounts. IDeaS business is providing software-as-a-service pricing and revenue management offerings as well as advisory consulting services. The Regional Manager will report to the Global Head of Account Management and is a leadership position. This position will be in our Bloomington office or remote if in the Midwest or Eastern US.



Major Responsibilities:
•    Directly manage the America’s Account Management team that builds, and nurtures established relationships for existing IDeaS accounts.
•    Determine equitable territory assignments; set and review performance goals and establishes priorities for all reporting staff
•    Develop procedures and guidelines to support complete account management processes.
•    Serve as an advisor and resource to team members and management in all aspects of customer relationship management skills and techniques, territory management, policies and procedures.
•    Assume a leadership role in collaborating with Sales Business Units and Marketing to improve the customer experience by making suggestions for process enhancements and educating their staff.
•    Participate with account managers and support staff in customer calls and presentations, goal identification, evaluation of account needs, and design of appropriate strategies.
•    Monitor new staff during their initial training program period and evaluate their skills throughout the program based on training objectives; identifies internal training needs and makes recommendations where appropriate.
•    Keep abreast of customer relationship management methodologies and practices.
•    Deliver timely and accurate reports to management.
•    Educate on IDeaS go-to-market strategies and resources to execute local tactics to create and win opportunities for IDeaS products and solutions.
•    Professionally represent IDeaS in the marketplace
•    Determine equitable territory assignments; set and review performance goals and establishes priorities for all reporting staff
•    Develop procedures and guidelines to support complete territory account management processes.
•    Performs other duties, as assigned.


•    12+ years of progressive experience within revenue management, account management, business development/sales professional specifically within consultative sales involving enterprise software.
•    5+ years of senior leadership role.
•    Bachelor's degree, preferably in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field.
•    Demonstrated management skills in account management and sales organization.
•    Demonstrated understanding of strategic retention and sales techniques and principal’s, specifically in the hardware and software industry, as well as selling to Fortune 500 companies and/or large governmental institutions.
•    Demonstrated negotiation skills.
•    Demonstrated ability to effectively allocate resources to meet annuity and sales objectives.
•    Knowledge of corporate/government software and/or hardware acquisition cycles and buying influences preferred.
•    Demonstrated knowledge of hospitality market segments.
•    Strong oral communication skills; demonstrated project leadership skills.
•    Ability to work and learn independently; demonstrated ability to interact productively with all levels of staff.
•    Ability to travel up to 50%


•    Hotel / Hospitality experience
•    Experience in a SaaS or software company


•    Work is typically performed in an office environment, using simple, easy muscular movements, involving only the handling of light materials, tools, or equipment in easy work positions, and with no special speed requirements or long stretches of exertion.
•    Vision requirements for this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
