Job Overview & Requirements

The HR Business Partner will provide coaching, support and influence that enables IDeaS the business to effectively deliver their people plans in the achievement of both global business and HR strategies. They will provide a consultancy service that will deliver advice and support to managers and employees on all HR-related areas including performance management, career planning, leadership development & coaching, talent acquisition, total rewards/compensation, and policy interpretation in conjunction with specialist HR functions.

 

For this role, you will have the opportunity to…

  • Partner with assigned IDeaS business units to deliver value-added services to management and employees that align with overall business objectives.
  • Collaborates with the HR team and SAS in the development and implementation of global employee programs and initiatives across IDeaS.
  • Partner with IDeaS global business leaders to develop action plans that achieve organizational objectives.
  • Manage and resolves employee relations issues; provides guidance on, and assists in, performance improvement and conduct related issues.
  • Collect and analyze HR data and make recommendations to IDeaS Leadership team
  • Facilitate conflict resolution at all levels.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Provide policy guidance and interpretation; recommends and implements changes.
  • Develop and delivers presentations on HR related topics.
  • Ensure that the organization's needs are met in accordance with governmental requirements.
  • Provide vision and direction in evaluating and implementing HR programs. Gains consensus among stakeholders on path forward.
  • Take initiative to improve or create processes, procedures or protocols to ensure alignment with leading practices and/or to continue to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

  Do you qualify? You must have…

  • 5+ years professional human resources experience handling a variety of responsibilities in two or more of the following areas: employment, employee relations, salary administration, benefits, or training.
  • 2+ years international/multi-country HR experience across a variety of business areas, navigating employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Experience with employment immigration
  • Knowledge of key HR functional areas including but not limited to; leadership and strategy, talent planning, learning & development, total rewards, employment employee relations, and of the laws that govern these areas.
  • Proven ability to be a trusted advisor to business leaders and internal HR teams.
  • Experience working with an HR information/management system.
  • Strong level of HR knowledge to assist business leaders in developing recommended course of action.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, diplomacy, and customer service skills.
  • Provides creative and effective ways to the development of complex concepts

 Preferences for this role include… 

  • Master’s Degree
  • Certified Professional HR (PHR) or Senior Professional HR (SPHR).
