We’re looking for a highly skilled and innovative individual to join our talented group of creative strategists.
Provides product line or industry/segment support for global messaging, positioning, and content creation to support sales and marketing channels, requiring close partnership with Product Management, Corporate Marketing, Field Marketing, Enablement and Engagement, and Sales Management.
For this role, you will have the opportunity to…
⦁ Owns the GTM product marketing activities, global positioning, and post-launch support plans
⦁ Provides input to customer acquisition strategy and customer retention strategy
⦁ Creates and directs internal and external activation of product launch plans
⦁ Defines buyer personas/target audience profiles
⦁ Identifies and creates joint solution or industry/domain positioning with key stakeholders.
⦁ Provides input, reviews and helps evolve market messaging
⦁ Partners with Sales, Account Management, and Sales Operations to support global product specific sales education and enablement
⦁ Supports the creation of market awareness for IDeaS through thought-leadership activities including articles, whitepapers, speaking engagements and involvement with key 3rd party organizations
⦁ Positions IDeaS capabilities for the general market, specific markets and/or applicable buyers which may include responses to competitive announcements and media coverage
⦁ Keeps abreast of, documents and disseminates specific industry, product, market and competitive dynamics/trends to support outbound marketing and sales enablement efforts
⦁ Responsible for product content for web collateral, printed collateral and sales tools.
⦁ Performs other duties, as assigned.
Do you qualify? You must have…
⦁ Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline.
⦁ Five years of experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, Consulting or related function in the technology industry
⦁ Experience creating and implementing GTM plans in a matrixed global B2B organization
⦁ Ability to articulate/translate product and service capabilities into customer issue context
⦁ Ability to identify key target audiences and from them create necessary personas who influence the buying decision
⦁ Ability to map product/portfolio and customer business pains into product marketing plans
⦁ Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
⦁ Skilled in effective communication, influencing and negotiation
⦁ Strong writing skills including the ability to translate technical information into simple, audience-appropriate language
⦁ Organizational skills for managing commitments, schedules, and deadlines
Preferences for this role include…
⦁ Demonstrated experience in a global SaaS domain translating complex product capabilities and concepts into hard-hitting business specific value statements
⦁ Solution or industry/domain expertise in revenue management, pricing, forecasting or hospitality
⦁ Previous hotel or revenue management experience or the ability to learn complex hospitality revenue management concepts.
⦁ Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or related discipline a plus.
⦁ Work is typically performed in an office environment, using simple, easy muscular movements, involving only the handling of light materials, tools, or equipment in easy work positions, and with no special speed requirements or long stretches of exertion.
⦁ Vision requirements for this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
⦁ Ability to Travel up to 25% of the time
