IDeaS’ Internship Program provides students with real world experiences working on high visibility projects and challenging assignments.  Our program facilitates opportunities to explore their field of study and make connections.  Interns are a valuable part of our team – they do a lot of important work here, and occasionally have some fun. 

 

As a Market Research intern on the Product Marketing team, you will help gather information and provide analysis for business decisions related to marketing, product development and sales through competitor and market analysis.  You will research, analyze and summarize intelligence on select industries, technology trends and competitor assessment. A key deliverable will be the development and management of internal competitive intelligence library.

 

This internship will begin in January - May (20 hrs/week) and continue with full-time hours (40 hrs/wk) June – August.

 

What you’ll be doing...

  • Working with the product marketing team, you will learn how to launch a new product into the market and understand how to effectively position a product against competitors
  • Gaining exposure to all facets of the marketing organization and other teams such as product management, sales and account management

What you’ll bring to us…

  • Current enrollment in a planned degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality or other relevant degrees. Completed at least 2 years of undergraduate work towards targeted degree.
  • Experience managing a project from concept to completion
  • Confident in problem solving, research and analytical skills
  • Strong communication, including written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Experience and confidence using Excel and PowerPoint
