IDeaS’ Internship Program provides students with real world experiences working on high visibility projects and challenging assignments.  Our program facilitates opportunities to explore their field of study and make connections.  Interns are a valuable part of our team – they do a lot of important work here, and occasionally have some fun.  

 

As a Marketing Analytics Intern on the Marketing team, you will play a critical role supporting the Sr. Marketing Analyst with inspecting, cleaning, transforming, and modeling data with the objective of providing decision making insights.  You will get hands-on experience measuring performance, impact and attribution across multiple channels and optimizing communication methods to global stakeholders. You will also gain hands-on experience using Salesforce and other tools and platforms.

 

What you’ll be doing...

  • Drafting, creating and managing a unified, interactive Marketing Metrics Data Dashboard that combines Digital, Social and CRM Marketing Metrics in a single source
  • Managing the process of gathering, analyzing, and reporting multiple KPIs
  • Assist the marketing team in analyzing current data with the goal of providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.

What you’ll bring to us…

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Statistics, Analytics or related discipline (Junior or Senior status as of Fall 2022)
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • General understanding of marketing channels
  • General understanding of marketing, sales, digital, social media and CRM analytics
  • Exposure to the ETL process
  • Exposure to SAS JMP, Minitab, Tableau or other statistical packages
  • Exposure to Google Data Studio, Power BI
  • Experience working with spreadsheets, databases and database reporting tools preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
  • Strong English communication skills as well as editing, writing, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines, multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively with creative problem-solving, and project management skills
