In this role you will help manage the commercial relationship for a key enterprise account. Strategic growth of this key enterprise account will depend on continued innovation and successful delivery of new functionality and tools at scale. At the same time, you will focus to support the existing installation base, and work to expand our partnership through support engagements, training, advisory services, and smaller enhancements to the IDeaS G3 Solution.  You will report to the Manager, Account Management of the assigned key enterprise account with additional support and guidance from headquarters account management and field sales staff.

This position will be location in Bloomington, MN or remotely in the Memphis or Dallas areas.


What you’ll be doing... 

  • Day to day account management responsibility for support relationship with assigned enterprise account and attendance/support during scheduled interactions with account support and deployment teams.
  • Sales support for new features or enhancements (existing, off the shelf) e.g., profit optimization, all inclusive.
  • Commercial decision making and support for service activities and ongoing deployment efforts e.g., data pulls, report enhancements, special projects, etc.
  • Oversight of support relationship and responsibility for alignment with client on support needs
  • Own escalations required to bring to the key enterprise account team.
  • Manage enhancement request process from fielding the request, working to define requirements, and commercials.
  • Commercial/contract responsibility for all activities related to the existing installation base including add-on order forms and billing.
  • Own relationships with the members of the client team dedicated to steady state Support Efforts and Enablement Efforts.
  • Uncover opportunities for training, enhanced support, add-ons, and advisory services related to teams that are primary users or supporters of IDeaS Solutions.
  • Work with latest tools to track activities, contacts, account, leads and opportunities, and make account planning and social media activities easy (, Quip, LinkedIn Premium etc.)
  • Be passionate about what you do and provide monthly reports and update to IDeaS sales leadership to share your strategies, tactics, and successes
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

What you’ll bring to us… 

  • 5+ years professional experience in hospitality
  • 3+ years of progressive experience within revenue management, account management, business development/sales professional specifically within consultative sales involving enterprise software
  • Past success in positioning and selling enterprise solutions in a complex corporate environment.
  • Track record of superior sales achievements (e.g., 100% or more of sales targets, significant competitive wins, significant account growth, awards, etc.).
  • Experienced and confident in communicating with Executive Management (C-Level) teams.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment by working both independently and as part of a team meeting dead-lines and expectations
  • Ability to establish and build relationships with existing customers at various levels, particularly senior management, and C-level to instill confidence and trust
  • Great presentation and negotiation skills to communicate the value of our products and services and negotiate profitable contracts
  • Commercial understanding that instills confidence and demonstrates you grasp the important aspects whilst not necessarily being the subject matter expert
  • Strong business acumen combined with the ability to translate complex business problems into workable solutions. This includes knowledge about how businesses work, business trends and the implications to their business, strong competitive knowledge, and how strategies and tactics work in the marketplace.
  • Ability to understand hospitality industry and hotel infrastructure, the technology within hotels, and interfaces with/ to IDeaS

The icing on the cake would be…

  • Degree in Business, Hospitality or another related field.
  • Good understanding of Revenue management (yielding), Sales, Pricing and Distribution
  • HSMAI CRME Certification
  • Previous experience working with an automated Revenue Management Solution
