As an Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating the invoice process to ensure accuracy and timeliness, within SalesForce and partnering with the contracts, account management and sales teams. This is a technical specialty is key for revenue recognition within a SaaS business. If you love getting into the finer points, variety of complexities and working/guiding others, this would be a great fit for you! 

What you’ll be doing...

  • Control the invoicing process for sales of revenue management software solutions to hospitality-based clients
  • Communicate with clients (internal and external) to resolve invoicing questions
  • Apply revenue recognition criteria to record revenue on client sales
  • Reconcile and analyzes various GL accounts and associated cost center reports
  • Prepare schedules and work papers for auditors
  • Prepare various analytical reports for management as required
  • Assist in preparing month-end closing reports

 

What you’ll bring to us…

  • Degree in accounting or finance
  • Experience in accounting within a corporate environment
  • Revenue recognition experience, in a SaaS based business model
  • Experience working with ERP Software, preferably Saleforce.com
  • Experience with invoicing and billing controls associated with sales contracts
  • Experience with budgets and multi-currency
  • Ability to read and analyze financial statements
  • Proven excellence in written and verbal communication
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
