The IDeaS Implementation and Adoption team’s mission is to get clients off to a great start, help them obtain value quickly, and ensure adoption through the life of their engagement with IDeaS. The teams work both internally and externally to deliver this mission through direct engagement with clients and active participation with internal teams to ensure all areas engaged with the client are utilizing the optimal content to ensure the team’s mission is achieved throughout the organization.

 

The AVP, Implementation and Adoption leads an extraordinary team of professionals who charter and execute the ongoing vision for IDeaS learning solutions, solution implementation, and client adoption.  This key role will lead a team of learning designers who are responsible for customized technical training and educational content design as well as a team of implementation and project managers who oversee the successful completion of implementation efforts from initiation through project delivery, and adoption specialists who ensure successful solution utilization through a client’s full product lifecycle. Responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining user adoption strategies through project management, solution implementation, customized training content, and ongoing educational strategies.

What you’ll be doing...

  • Provides strategic leadership for the department and manages team members within the department.
  • Oversees educational design of customized training content for IDeaS clients.
  • Leads a digital first design strategy for educational content and implementation processes that accommodates different learning styles, client personas, and internal stakeholders resulting in successful adoption and retention.
  • Collaborates with other teams to help identify implementation, project management and adoption needs and leads educational and user adoption design planning.
  • Creates a vision and leads cross-departmental execution plans to enable a robust online client community.
  • Leads efforts to ensure a differentiated best-in-class implementation and adoption client experience.
  • Collaborates closely with Product Development to syndicate learnings from client engagements into future product releases.
  • Executes implementation and adoption approaches for newly developed add-ons and solutions.
  • Collaborates closely with AVP, Client Success, VP Account Management, and new business sales leaders to support new business growth opportunities and solidify client retention.
  • Prepares communications to stakeholder groups that support internal and external alignment and adoption with team vision and invention. Presents compelling content at client events.
  • Responsible for portfolio management and overseeing the status of implementation and adoption projects.
  • Manages and mitigates risks associated with project delivery; Serves as leadership escalation point for issues that surface during delivery engagement. Accountable for successful and timely implementations.
  • Ensures teams have optimal resources matched to client engagement need; Collaborates with team to ensure that they are managing all activity associated with successful solution delivery and adoption.
  • Mentors team members on best practices in implementation, project management, and adoption to enhance delivery and coaches team members on driving client success.
  • Evaluates effectiveness of solutions through analytics, surveys, and input from key clients. Implement changes in training and implementation processes accordingly.
  • Prepares and manages departmental budget and coordinates the allocation of resources for projects within and outside the department.
  • Set and review performance goals and establishes priorities for all reporting team members.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring to us…

  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, technical communication, adult education, organizational development, customer success, or related field.
  • 10 years’ experience leading educational design and delivery for technical content.
  • 7+ years of experience in a leadership role including 4+ years in a formal management role
  • Experience developing implementation, project management, and adoption solutions for a global audience.
  • A strong history of creating and managing the development of externally focused (client, partner, community, etc.) digital training, software user assistance, and performance support
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that are cost-effective, time-efficient and align with overall company strategy.
  • Ability to anticipate, quickly address, and make good decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Advanced understanding of current multi-modal learning interactions and performance support trends and technologies across mobile, virtual, hybrid and in-person environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of instructional design principles, technical communication, and learning theory.
  • Demonstrated experience working with global teams and building programs and products for a diverse set of users.
  • Knowledge of Project Management Practice procedures and tools; Understanding of project delivery lifecycle.
  • Thorough understanding of P&L responsibilities and the impact on services delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. Effective public speaker.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
